Tebuconazole 10% +
Sulphur 65% WG
SUTTON is a broad-spectrum fungicide that combines systemic and contact modes of action to deliver effective disease control across a variety of crops. Tebuconazole, a triazole fungicide, disrupts fungal cell membrane synthesis by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis, while Sulphur acts externally by interfering with fungal respiration and metabolism. This synergistic blend provides preventive, curative, and eradicative control against diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, leaf spots, pod blight, and fruit rot.
Tebuconazole inhibits sterol demethylation (DMI fungicide activity), crucial for ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, leading to membrane destabilization and cell death. Its systemic property enables absorption through leaves and translocation acropetally within the plant, protecting both existing and new growth. Sulphur acts as a multi-site contact fungicide disrupting fungal respiration and enzymatic functions, preventing spore germination and fungal multiplication. It also exhibits a vapor-phase effect that enhances control of surface pathogens and contributes micronutrients beneficial for crop physiology.
Broad-Spectrum Efficacy: Controls multiple fungal diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, leaf spots, pod blight, and fruit rot, ensuring robust crop protection.
Dual Mode of Action: Combines systemic protection by Tebuconazole with rapid contact and vapor action of Sulphur for immediate and sustained disease suppression.
Preventive to Curative: Offers versatile disease management by preventing infections, controlling existing infections, and eradicating pathogens.
Enhanced Crop Health: Sulphur contributes essential micronutrients that improve physiological functions and may help suppress mite infestations.
